Maurice James

Maurice James, founder of Mojo Pictures, is a graduate of Columbia
University in artificial intelligent computer programming. While in New
York he worked as a tech consultant while also deeply involved in the
independent production world. In 2003 Maurice relocated to Los Angeles,
CA to attend the University of Southern California's Peter Stark Producing
Program at the School of Cinematic Arts. At USC, Maurice
received several scholarships and awards including the Robert S.
Ferguson Award for his thesis project--a Brazilian music documentary
entitled
Tropicália that is currently in development at Mojo Pictures.

Maurice has worked in Fox Searchlight Studio's creative development
department. He has directed, written and produced content for NBC,
A&E, TNT, the Speed Channel, and various online/new media content.
